Disney World Suffers Technical Issues, Closes Three Popular Rides

Yesterday was a bad day for Disney World visitors as three popular rides were closed for a combined total of 24 hours. This is not uncommon, especially during the summer months when technology issues and less-than-ideal weather can cause problems.

The rides affected were Haunted Mansion, which was closed for six hours straight in the morning, and Space Mountain, which had intermittent closures throughout the day. The third ride to experience technical difficulties was TRON Lightcycle / Run, which had a wait time of 80 minutes towards the end of the day.

The wait times for other rides were also unusually high, with some attractions reaching wait times of over an hour. This led to frustration among visitors who had been planning their days around these popular rides.
