Disney World Unveils 55th Anniversary Merchandise Collection
Walt Disney World has unveiled its new merchandise collection to celebrate its 55th anniversary. The collection, which includes items such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, backpacks, Minnie Mouse ears, and a Mickey plush, will be available at select locations including Emporium, Creations Shop, and online.
The most popular item in the collection is likely to be the limited-edition Cinderella doll, which combines Disney's Cinderella with the original attraction, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. The doll is a limited edition of 5,000 and will be available soon at select Walt Disney World Resort locations and online at DisneyStore.com on October 12.
Disney has also collaborated with Scentsy to create a new wax collection featuring five scents inspired by the original lands of Magic Kingdom Park. The collection is available now and includes scents such as Main Street, U.S.A. (caramel popcorn + cinnamon roll + vanilla sugar) and Fantasyland (pear + lilac + spun sugar).
