Disney World Unveils New Indiana Jones Ride with Fearsome Jade Serpent

Walt Disney Imagineering is working on a new Indiana Jones ride at Animal Kingdom's Pueblo Esperanza, a land based on the Tropical Americas. The ride will take guests on a brand-new adventure in a newly discovered Maya temple, where things are bound to get treacherous.

The ride's main attraction is the Jade Serpent, which Disney recently revealed with a first look image. The scale of the serpent has been confirmed, and it's likely that Indiana Jones will have to face his famous fear of snakes in this new adventure.

The ride's system is expected to be similar to the old DINOSAUR ride, but Disney hasn't specified an opening date yet.
