Disney World Unveils Sweeping Park Updates at D23 Fan Event

Disney World is preparing for major updates across its four main parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. The announcements came at the D23 fan event.

The most significant update to Magic Kingdom will be the introduction of 'Villains Land', a new area inspired by Disney's iconic villains. This land will include dining and shopping options as well as two new attractions: a Maleficent-inspired coaster experience and a dark ride hosted by the Magic Mirror featuring various Disney villains.

Additionally, the Carousel of Progress attraction will undergo refurbishment to add four new decades and a new scene with a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronics figure. The beloved matriarch and patriarch of the family will be voiced by Jamie Lee Curtis and Bryan Cranston respectively.
