Disney World Unveils Villains Land with Two New Attractions

Disney World has announced its latest expansion, Villains Land, at Magic Kingdom. The new area will feature two main attractions: a Maleficent-themed roller coaster and a dark ride called Magic Mirror. The roller coaster will take guests through enchanted briar surrounding Maleficent's mountaintop fortress, with elements that Imagineering has never attempted before.

The Imagineering team teased that the coaster will include innovative features, but details were scarce. In contrast, the Magic Mirror dark ride was described as a series of Disney villains hosted by the Magic Mirror from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The ride's set pieces and special effects will bring the Mirror's ethereal realm to life.

Disney also announced two new attractions for Piston Peak National Park, its Cars-themed area: Miss Fritter's Daredevil Spin-Along and Cars Ridge Run Rally. The former features an animatronic school bus as its host, while the latter debuts a completely new ride vehicle designed to look like an off-road car.
