Disney World Website Overhaul Continues with Navigation Bar Updates
Walt Disney World's website has undergone significant changes in its visual and functional updates. The updated navigation bar is now condensed across the site, replacing the previous utility bar that carried links to Disney.com, account information, a country and language selector, and a search bar.
The new navigation bar features links for Parks, Tickets & Passes, Places to Stay, and Dining, as well as a cart icon and a search icon. The 'Parks' dropdown menu has also been reorganized into three columns: Explore Our Parks, Things to Do, and promotional image cards.
The homepage layout has also been simplified, with the booking widget now sitting below the hero image instead of overlaying it. This change aligns with a website overhaul previewed by Disney in June, which will feature flexible date-range search, side-by-side resort comparison, AI-generated resort summaries, and a pricing and availability calendar.
While some features from the updated navigation bar are now live, others mentioned in the June preview, such as flexible date search, resort comparison, AI-generated summaries, or the pricing calendar, do not appear to be active yet. The updates will likely roll out iteratively over the coming months, with Walt Disney World receiving the changes first.
