Disney World's FriendShip Boats Still Down at Yacht and Beach Club Resorts

The Disney World Resort's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts have been experiencing some transportation issues. The FriendShip Boats that offer guests transportation to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and other EPCOT area hotels were originally set to be closed from August 17th through August 21st due to refurbishment of the Boat Dock.

However, after a visit by AllEars staff today, it was found that the construction is still ongoing. A Cast Member confirmed that the dock would remain closed for at least another week due to unexpected issues that were discovered during the renovation.

In the meantime, guests staying at these resorts can use a quick walking path directly to EPCOT as an alternative mode of transportation. Disney typically offers bus transportation when other forms of transportation are unavailable, but in this case, the walking path is a convenient option for those looking to avoid buses.
