Disney World's Lakeshore Lodge Hotel Coming Summer 2027 with Nature-Themed Wetlands and Three New Restaurants
Disney World's next hotel is set to open in summer 2027, and construction teams are already hard at work. The new Magic Kingdom hotel will be called Disney Lakeshore Lodge, located near Magic Kingdom along the shores of Bay Lake. The resort will be themed to nature and eligible for Disney Vacation Club (DVC), categorizing it as a deluxe tier hotel for non-DVC members.
The Wetlands, a mini water park within the hotel's pool area, will feature a zero-entry pool, a slide, a kids' splash area, a dry playground, and a lazy river. There will also be a quiet pool and a hot tub available to guests. Dandelion Terrace, a common area with prime fireworks viewing for Magic Kingdom's nighttime spectaculars, will feature artwork from The Walt Disney Archives.
Lakeshore Lodge will be home to three dining locations: Moonglade, a table service restaurant; Bay Lake Provisions, a quick service restaurant; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill. Moonglade will serve 'thoughtfully prepared dishes featuring seasonally and locally sourced ingredients', while Bay Lake Provisions will be open all day for families on the go.
