Disney World's Magic Kingdom Ditches Dry Policy as More Restaurants Serve Booze

Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom has long been a dry park, but that changed in 2012 when Be Our Guest Restaurant began serving alcohol. Since then, nine more table-service restaurants have joined the list of places where guests can purchase drinks with their meal.

The first to serve alcohol was Be Our Guest Restaurant, which offers specialty beverages, champagne, wines, beers, and ciders during lunch and dinner for guests over 21. Cinderella's Royal Table, located in Cinderella Castle, also offers the option of purchasing alcoholic beverages at an additional cost with their prix-fixe menu.

Other restaurants that serve alcohol include The Crystal Palace, Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, Liberty Tree Tavern, The Plaza Restaurant, Tony's Town Square Restaurant, and The Beak and Barrel. The latter is a bar-lounge inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean, where guests can enjoy light bites and immersive theming while purchasing two alcoholic beverages.

Additionally, Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties offer pre-party and post-party food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages for guests over 21. The Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up Restaurant will also serve a Wild West-inspired menu of small bites and drinks, including cocktails.
