Disney World's Magic of Disney Animation Brings Characters Together

Disney World visitors have a new opportunity to meet their favorite Hollywood Studios characters thanks to the Magic of Disney Animation area. The addition has brought together eight characters in one location, making it easier for guests to plan their character meet-and-greets.

The first published times show that some characters will be available from 9 a.m., while others have earlier cutoffs. For example, Chip 'n' Dale, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Stitch, Mulan, and Rapunzel can be found at Off the Page! until as late as 6:30 p.m.

However, not all characters are part of this schedule. Pluto has a separate appearance in Animation Courtyard, but only from opening to 4:20 p.m. Guests will need to check the schedule for his appearances rather than assuming he'll be there continuously.

There's also an element of unpredictability with Suzy and Perla, who have made unannounced appearances around Animation Courtyard. These characters don't have published times, so finding them could come down to luck.

Disney advises guests to check the schedule before their visit as operating hours may change over time. The Magic of Disney Animation area is expected to have changing hours in the coming weeks, which could affect when its characters are available.
