Disney World is in the midst of significant renovations and closures across its four main theme parks. The refurbishment at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, which began on August 10th, is expected to last through September 2027 and includes a year-long renovation of the convention center and surrounding areas.

In Magic Kingdom, the Carousel of Progress attraction has been closed since July 6th for major renovations. The ride will be revamped with new scenes and a Walt Disney animatronic added at the opening, but no official reopening date has been set yet, with estimates suggesting it won't reopen until 2027.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is also undergoing changes with the closure of Vacation Fun, which began on August 9th. The area will be used as an Annual Passholder magnet distribution site through September 24th, but no reopening date has been announced.
