Disney Wraps Scaffolding Around Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Facade
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios has been undergoing refurbishment since early summer. Initially, signs of construction appeared in May when parts of the ride queue were refurbished.
After that project was completed, Disney installed protective scrim and scaffolding above the gift shop.
As of early July, scaffolding began to appear on all sides of the building, crawling from the right side up toward the iconic Hollywood Tower Hotel sign. The facade is being repainted, with patches of brighter pink appearing on the building, which will eventually receive its typical aged treatment.
