Disneyland Oogie Boogie Bash Sells Out Another Date in September

Disneyland's Oogie Boogie Bash, a separately ticketed Halloween event at Disney California Adventure Park, has sold out another date in September. As of August 1, Sunday, September 20 was no longer available for general guests to purchase tickets. This leaves only one standard Sunday option, on August 30, with tickets costing $159 per guest ages three and older.

The event's popularity is not surprising, as it offers immersive treat trails, Disney character encounters, Villains Grove, seasonal attraction overlays, and unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass images captured during event hours. However, the sellout has left families planning around work and school with a stark choice: secure August 30 while it remains available, qualify for the D23 event on September 27, or shift their trip to a Tuesday or Thursday.

Disney's expanded Oogie Boogie Bash schedule in 2026, which includes 33 nights, has not preserved weekend flexibility. The majority of parties still fall on weekdays, making it challenging for guests who cannot attend on work or school nights to find available dates. This pattern is consistent with last year, when all 31 parties had sold out by August 22.
