Disneyland Unveils Holiday Plans for 2026
Disneyland Resort has announced its plans for the 2026 holiday season. The celebration will run from November 13 to January 6, 2027, and will feature a range of seasonal entertainment, decorated attractions, and festivities throughout the resort.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends will be dressed in new holiday attire inspired by winter alpine gatherings, while Santa Claus will make appearances at Mickey's Toontown Trolley Barn and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. 'World of Color -- Season of Light' will return to Disney California Adventure, combining scenes from Disney films with holiday music.
At Disneyland Park, the 'A Christmas Fantasy Parade' will feature Disney characters, toy soldiers, dancing reindeer, and gingerbread cookies, while 'Believe...in Holiday Magic' will include fireworks and snowfall. Seasonal versions of Haunted Mansion Holiday and 'it's a small world' Holiday will also return, along with holiday transformations in Cars Land.
The iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle will be transformed into Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle, complete with icicles, wreaths, and over 80,000 lights that illuminate the castle each evening during Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle. Simulated snowfall will also occur along portions of Main Street, U.S.A., and other areas of the park.
Disney Festival of Holidays will return to Disney California Adventure, featuring music and dance performances, seasonal food, and celebrations reflecting various holiday traditions. Downtown Disney District will feature holiday decorations, seasonal food, and entertainment, including nightly simulated snowfall and live performances at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.
