Disney's AI-Powered Vacation Planner Brings Simplicity to Planning

Walt Disney World has launched a new AI-powered vacation planning tool in collaboration with Google Cloud. The new experience aims to simplify the planning process and provide guests with more personalized results.

The tool offers flexible search, a pricing and availability calendar, and side-by-side comparisons of options to find the best available rate. AI-powered summaries also provide information based on specific vacation plans, schedules, and budgets.

Disney notes that AI has been used thoughtfully throughout the experience, not just for the sake of using it. However, some features, such as Lightning Lane and dining reservations, will still be handled through existing booking methods.

The beta experience is currently available to a limited number of randomly selected guests in the United States and Canada. Disney plans to expand availability in phases and continue refining the experience based on guest feedback.
