Disney's BoardWalk Closes Several Amenities for Refurbishment

Walt Disney World has announced several refurbishments for its BoardWalk resort area. Construction will take place from now through late 2026, affecting select areas of Disney's BoardWalk Inn, including routine maintenance on the Luna Park Pool and Leaping Horse Libations. From January 11 to April 27, 2027, these amenities will be closed.

The Disney Skyliner will also be closed for refurbishment from January 24-30, 2027, with complimentary bus transportation available during this time. In addition to these closures, the Village Green courtyard will be closed from August 10 to September 4, 2026, for unknown work.

However, some new developments are coming to the BoardWalk area. The Hurly-Burly Lounge and Night Club is set to open in a historic seaside theater, offering family-friendly activities during the day and live music performances at night. Basin Soap Shop will also be opening, providing a sensory shopping experience with handcrafted products.
