The Carousel of Progress, a beloved Disney attraction, is undergoing a significant transformation. After 60 years of operation, the show has been updated to feature new voice actors and scenes set in different time periods.

The original attraction was created by Walt Disney himself and first debuted at the 1964 New York World's Fair. It has since been updated several times, with the last major update occurring in 1994. The latest iteration will see Disney Legend Jamie Lee Curtis and Emmy-winning actor Bryan Cranston take on the roles of mom and dad.

The attraction's storyline begins in the 1960s, mirroring its origins at the World's Fair. It then moves to the 1980s, where Sarah takes center stage as she navigates the family's new appliances and gadgets. The show concludes with a scene set in the future, where the family has an out-of-this-world home.

The Imagineers working on this refresh have drawn inspiration from original concept sketches by Disney Legend John Hench, who envisioned a futuristic community that would become part of life.
