Disney's D23 Event Unveils VisionQuest Trailer and More

At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California, Marvel Studios unveiled the trailer for VisionQuest, a new series that completes the WandaVision trilogy. After being resurrected and losing his memories in WandaVision's finale, Vision (played by Paul Bettany) has been living in hiding, but a bounty on his head forces him to go on the run with Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious boy who may be his son or reincarnate.

The series explores intergenerational trauma and features an all-star cast, including James Spader as Ultron and Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy/Thomas Shepherd. VisionQuest will debut on Disney+ on October 14, 2026.

Other highlights from the D23 event include a teaser for Ahsoka S2, which continues the story of the Jedi Padawan's journey beyond the known galaxy, and the first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, an upcoming film that brings together heroes from three distinct universes to face an existential threat.

The trailer for Star Wars: Starfighter, directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling, was also showcased at the event. Although no official teaser has been released yet, attendees were treated to exclusive first footage.
