The Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa's Alice in Wonderland splash pad has closed for refurbishment. According to Walt Disney World News Today, the closure began on August 12, with no official announcement from Disney about the work.

A visit to the site revealed that the giant Mad Hatter bucket is covered in plastic wrap, and the slides are blocked off due to lack of water flow through the play area. A construction lift was parked nearby, and panels were removed from the splash pad's border, with blue painter's tape marking the openings.

While Disney has not confirmed the duration or purpose of the refurbishment, it is likely for general maintenance, which could indicate a relatively quick project. The closure may have some impact on vacation plans, but this depends on individual circumstances and preferences.
