Disney's Hollywood Studios Celebrates Animation Heritage with Iconic Group Photo

Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios has unveiled The Magic of Disney Animation experience as part of its ongoing celebration of Disney's 100-year history. To mark the occasion, the park recreated an iconic image from the short film Once Upon a Studio with a group photo featuring 60 characters. This tribute is an homage to the original image that inspired the experience.

The group photo includes rare and seldom-used characters, such as Oswald, Pete, Bernard and Miss Bianca, Bolt, Raya, Merlin, Madame Upanova, Sheriff of Nottingham, Terk, Clopin Trouillefou, Milo and Kida, Meg, Hercules and Hades, Yzma, and Yokai. This marks the grand opening of The Magic of Disney Animation experience, which includes new attractions such as the Once Upon a Studio Theater, Olaf Draws Animation Academy, Drawn to Wonderland Play Area, and 'Off the Page' Character Meet & Greets.

The Magic of Disney Animation experience is inspired by the 100-year history of Walt Disney Animation Studios and its iconic campus in Burbank, California. The park's redone Walt Disney World land draws heavily from the architecture and atmosphere of the original lot, featuring numerous homages to the actual campus.
