Disney's Hollywood Studios Gets Its New Solar-Powered Trash Cans

Disney's Hollywood Studios has become the latest park to receive an update in its trash cans. The new solar-powered models have been rolling out across Disney World, and they've finally arrived on Hollywood Boulevard.

The high-tech cans are compacting trash with the help of solar power, allowing Cast Members to empty them less frequently. They also feature a foot pedal for opening the doors, eliminating the need for manual contact.

Each set of trash cans is themed to its respective area and can be easily spotted due to their bright green color. The new cans have already been installed in Animal Kingdom and EPCOT, but they've received mixed reactions from fans, who are used to eating on the old cans during festivals.
