Disney's Hollywood Studios Gets New Animal Additions Ahead of The Magic of Disney Animation Opening
The Walt Disney Studios area in Hollywood Studios has seen some new additions recently. In addition to the previously opened part of the project, more animal figures have appeared in the outdoor courtyard. These include Little Brother from Mulan, who was spotted enjoying a scratch behind the ear from Mulan herself.
Other characters that have been added to the area include Oliver and Dodger from Oliver & Co., as well as Meeko from Pocahontas, who is seen munching on classic Disney popcorn. These figures are part of the courtyard's charm, which makes it fun to visit. You never know who you'll run into.
The Magic of Disney Animation area will be opening September 14th in the building that previously housed Star Wars Launch Bay. This space has been converted into a replica of the Roy E. Disney Animation Building at The Walt Disney Studios headquarters in Burbank. The idea behind this area is that characters have come to life while the animators have stepped away, similar to the Once Upon a Studio short.
