Disney's Hollywood Studios Revamps Gift Shop with Return of Wooden Register

Walt Disney World Resort made some changes to The Darkroom gift shop at Disney's Hollywood Studios. One of the full-sized wooden registers has been brought back, and it features Art Deco-style theming. However, another register is still missing.

The returned register is located near the main entrance to the gift shop on Hollywood Boulevard. It matches the aesthetic of the vintage camera-themed merchandise location. Despite this change, guests may have to wait longer to purchase Disney Trading Pins and other souvenirs because the second full-sized checkout station is still absent.

Disney has not publicly acknowledged these changes or indicated whether it plans to bring back the missing register. The company rarely comments on minor updates that don't significantly impact the theme park guest experience.
