Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Brings Beloved Animated Films to Life in New Themed Rooms

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is set to open on July 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort. The new waterfront resort will feature 967 rooms inspired by beloved Disney animated films.

The most unique accommodation will be the freestanding Lake Houses, perched right on the edge of Bay Lake with floor-to-ceiling windows and private porches overlooking the water. Themed to 'Brother Bear,' each Lake House will sleep five or eight guests and include a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a Northern Lights-inspired lighting feature in the primary bedroom.

Other themed rooms include Duo Studios inspired by 'Encanto' with colorful decor and a spa-like split bathroom, Deluxe Studios and one- and two-bedroom villas rooted in the world of 'Bambi,' and three-bedroom Grand Villas celebrating the artistic magic of 'Fantasia.'

The resort will also offer The Artist's Nest, an elevated concierge lounge above the treetops with sweeping views of the resort and complimentary refreshments.
