Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Opening Date Revealed: July 1, 2027

Walt Disney World is gearing up for its newest resort, Lakeshore Lodge. The highly anticipated property will open on July 1, 2027, marking a significant milestone in the company's expansion plans.

Lakeshore Lodge was first announced in 2018 as Reflections, A Disney Lakeside Lodge but faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After years of uncertainty, Disney revived the project in 2024 with a new name and concept. The resort will be situated next to Bay Lake, between Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge.

The property boasts an impressive 967 rooms, including studios and suites that offer stunning views of Bay Lake by day and Magic Kingdom fireworks at night. One- and two-bedroom Lake Houses along the waterfront are also set to debut as part of the resort's offerings.

Disney has confirmed three restaurants will be available at Lakeshore Lodge, with concept art for Pocahontas Lobby & Fireworks Lounge already released. The new resort promises an immersive experience inspired by nature and its impact on Disney artists.
