Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Resort Coming July 2027 with Themed Rooms

Disney's long-awaited Lakeshore Lodge resort is set to open on July 1, 2027, marking a new era for Disney Vacation Club. Located near Magic Kingdom and adjacent to Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, the resort will offer a range of accommodations inspired by beloved Disney animated films.

The resort's rooms will draw inspiration from classic films such as 'Encanto', 'Bambi', 'Fantasia', and 'Pocahontas'. Duo studios will feature an 'Encanto' theme, while deluxe studios and villas will be inspired by 'Bambi'. Resort studios, on the other hand, will be themed after 'Pocahontas'. The resort's three-bedroom grand villas will be designed to resemble 'Fantasia', complete with multiple bathrooms and a full kitchen.

Waterfront Lake Houses inspired by 'Brother Bear' will also be available for guests. These freestanding retreats will feature A-frame architecture, floor-to-ceiling windows, and private waterfront porches. Each accommodation type will include unique amenities and features to enhance the guest experience.
