Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Set to Open in Summer 2027 with New Room Types

Walt Disney World has announced that its new resort hotel, Lakeshore Lodge, will open on July 1, 2027. The resort is located along Bay Lake and features floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in natural sunlight, allowing the outdoors to flow into the architecture, artwork, and ambiance.

The resort will offer 967 themed accommodations, ranging from studios to spacious multi-bedroom villas. Disney's Lakeshore Lodge also introduces standalone one and two-bedroom Lake Houses positioned along the waterfront, similar to the Cascade Cabins at Wilderness Lodge.

Guests can choose from various room types, including Duo Studios inspired by Encanto, Deluxe Studios with a woodland charm reminiscent of Bambi, One & Two-Bedroom Villas rooted in the storytelling of Bambi, and Three-Bedroom Grand Villas celebrating the artistry of Disney Animation's Fantasia.

The A-Frame Waterfront Lake Houses are a new and exclusive offering at Lakeshore Lodge, featuring dramatic A-frame architecture and beautiful waterfront views. These unique freestanding retreats will sleep up to five or eight guests and offer private porches overlooking the water, full kitchens, and washer and dryers.
