Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Set to Open July 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will open its doors on July 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort. The new resort hotel promises to celebrate the beauty and magic of nature through the eyes of Disney artists and storytellers.

Inspired by Walt Disney's admiration for the great outdoors, the resort's design highlights animated stories rooted in nature, including nods to classic films such as Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear. The resort will feature 967 themed accommodations, ranging from studios to spacious multi-bedroom villas.

The Deluxe Studios will bring the woodland charm of Disney Animation's Bambi to life with warm natural materials, original concept artwork, and comfortable living spaces designed for up to four guests. The rooms also feature a striking wood panel that extends above the headboard and across the ceiling, giving the room depth and texture.

A-Frame Waterfront Lake Houses will be exclusive to Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, offering an up-close connection to nature with plenty of space to relax and unwind along the shores of Bay Lake. These unique freestanding retreats feature dramatic A-frame architecture, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, and beautiful waterfront views.
