Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Takes Shape with Nature-Inspired Designs

Walt Disney World Resort is making progress on its new resort, Disney's Lakeshore Lodge. The resort is expected to open in the summer of 2027 and promises to be a beautiful addition to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

The lobby of Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will feature floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing The Wetlands outdoor recreation area. This design draws inspiration from Walt Disney Animation Studios' Pocahontas, with a shimmering fiberoptic river illuminating the floor and a blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture above.

Three dining experiences are planned for the resort: Moonglade, a table-service restaurant; Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day quick-service marketplace; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, a pool bar with shareable bites and specialty beverages. Dandelion Terrace will offer guests a magical place to watch fireworks.
