Disney's Lakeshore Lodge to Open at Walt Disney World in Summer 2027

A new resort is under construction at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, called Disney's Lakeshore Lodge. The lodge will be situated on the south shores of Bay Lake and is set to open in summer 2027.

The resort's design is inspired by the natural beauty of the surrounding area and features a nature-inspired theme throughout its architecture and amenities. One of the main attractions at the resort will be The Wetlands, an outdoor recreation area that surrounds the lobby and offers views of Bay Lake.

The Wetlands will feature several play areas for younger guests, including Heron Shores with imaginative climbing features and Otter Springs with interactive water features where kids can splash and slide. The area will also include a zero-entry pool called Lakeshore Lagoon and a leisure pool and whirlpool spa located in Cypress Point.

The resort will also offer several dining experiences for guests, including Moonglade, which offers waterfront dining with stunning views of Bay Lake; Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day quick-service marketplace offering specialty coffees and fresh fare; Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, a pool bar serving shareable bites and specialty beverages; and Dandelion Terrace, a lounge that will show Magic Kingdom Park fireworks lighting up the sky over the waters of Bay Lake.
