Disney's Lakeshore Lodge to Open in 2027 with Nature-Inspired Accommodations

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is set to open on July 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort. This new resort promises a unique immersive theming experience with a focus on nature-inspired design. Imagineers and artists have taken inspiration from the natural world and beloved Disney and Pixar classics to create spaces filled with earthy tones, natural textures, original artwork, and details designed to make guests feel connected to their surroundings.

The Lake Houses are perhaps the most intriguing accommodations at Lakeshore Lodge. These freestanding retreats will sit along Bay Lake, offering guests a waterfront stay that feels distinctly different from traditional Disney resort rooms. Each one-bedroom Lake House can accommodate up to five guests, while two-bedroom options can sleep up to eight.

These unique spaces feature dramatic A-frame structures, enormous floor-to-ceiling windows, and private porches overlooking the water. The theming draws inspiration from Disney Animation's Brother Bear, incorporating elements from the film's Alaskan setting and its themes of nature, family, and discovery.
