Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Unveils Nature-Inspired Design Ahead of Summer 2027 Opening
The highly anticipated Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is nearing completion, and Walt Disney World Resort has revealed stunning new details about the nature-inspired resort set to open in summer 2027. The resort will transport guests into the beauty of the natural world from the moment they step inside, with a spacious lobby featuring soaring floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light while providing breathtaking views of The Wetlands.
The design of the resort is inspired by local plants and wildlife, blending seamlessly into the architecture, artwork, and overall atmosphere. Fans of Disney's Pocahontas will recognize several artistic touches inspired by the beloved film, including a shimmering fiber-optic river flowing through the lobby floor and an impressive blown-glass sculpture hanging overhead.
Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will feature three unique dining locations, each offering its own atmosphere while embracing the beauty of Bay Lake. Moonglade will offer waterfront dining with breathtaking lake views, serving thoughtfully prepared dishes featuring seasonal ingredients and locally sourced products whenever possible. Bay Lake Provisions will serve as the resort's all-day quick-service marketplace, making it easy to grab breakfast before heading to the parks or pick up a snack after spending time by the pool.
The resort is also home to Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, which offers a relaxing poolside setting where guests can enjoy shareable appetizers and specialty beverages. One of the most exciting new spaces coming to Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is Dandelion Terrace, an elegant lounge designed to be a favorite evening destination where guests can unwind as they watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks reflect across Bay Lake.
