Disney's Lightning Lane Prices Plummet by Up to 28% in Late August

Walt Disney World has confirmed its Lightning Lane pricing for most of August 2024, and it reveals significant cuts as the month progresses. The cost of a Lightning Lane Multi Pass at some parks will suddenly drop by $9 per person overnight on August 23.

The reductions don't apply equally across every park or attraction. However, the difference is large enough that families planning their trips around Lightning Lane may want to take notice. For example, Magic Kingdom's Multi Pass price falls from $32 per person in the first three weeks of August to $23 on August 23.

This change means a family of five would see the base cost drop from $160 to $115, a difference of $45. The lower prices don't disappear after one day; they remain lower as Walt Disney World moves deeper into the final week of August.
