Disney's Magic of Animation Brings Studio Tour Experience to Life
Disney's Hollywood Studios is gearing up for the official opening of its new attraction, The Magic of Disney Animation. To get a behind-the-scenes look at this exciting experience, we spoke with some of the creative minds behind it. Eric Goldberg, a Disney Animator and Disney Legend, joined forces with Dan Abraham, co-director of the acclaimed short film Once Upon A Studio. Together, they were joined by Jackie Swisher, Senior Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering, and Disney's Hollywood Studios Vice President.
The new attraction is inspired by the acclaimed short film Once Upon A Studio, which showcases the art of animation in a unique way. Goldberg and Abraham shared their inspirations and design ideas that helped bring this experience to life. They hope that The Magic of Disney Animation will inspire a new generation of audiences who want to get into the art of animation.
The Magic of Disney Animation is set to officially open on September 14, giving visitors a chance to explore the world of animation like never before. This new experience takes on the idea of the original iteration of the attraction that was a functioning studio tour, where guests could see animators at work. Goldberg and Abraham's vision for this new attraction is to create an immersive experience that brings the art of animation to life.
