Disney's Magic of Animation Soars Three Days Early

The Magic of Disney Animation soft opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios on September 11, three days ahead of its official debut on September 14. The attraction allows guests to experience various aspects of Disney animation, including character meet-and-greets and interactive experiences.

During the soft opening, guests were able to explore the Walt Disney Animation Studios courtyard outside the building, where Pluto was making appearances. Inside the attraction, visitors could see a map of the Magic of Disney Animation interior, which features sections such as Drawn to Wonderland, Off the Page!, Olaf Draws!, and the Once Upon A Studio Theater.

Guests were also able to browse the enchanted art gallery inside the attraction, where they could see various displays related to Disney animation. The main lobby of Magic of Disney Animation features color-coded sections for Story, Layout, Animation, and Lighting, each with its own meet-and-greet opportunity.
