Disney's Revenue Rises, But Net Income Falls as It Expands Streaming and Experiences
The Walt Disney Company recently reported its fiscal third-quarter 2026 results, which showed revenue rising to US$25.248 million while net income fell to US$2.638 million.
Disney also appointed Andy Shu, a former HBO Max architect, as director and head of commerce for Disney+ Asia Pacific. He will relocate to Tokyo as part of the role.
This combination of higher revenue but lower profitability highlights Disney's focus on tightening digital monetization while its Experiences and direct-to-consumer businesses evolve together.
