Disney's Secret Army Brings Halloween Magic to Life Overnight

Every year, Walt Disney World undergoes a massive transformation for Halloween. But what happens behind the scenes? A team of nearly 80 Cast Members works tirelessly to bring the seasonal decorations to life.

The Holiday Services team is responsible for preparing and installing fall decorations throughout the resort, including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs. They work overnight, often with minimal sleep, to get everything in place before the parks open.

One of the reasons for this frantic pace is that the holiday season doesn't just end with Halloween. Christmas preparations are already underway, with teams working behind the scenes to install wreaths, garlands, and Christmas trees.

According to Disney, the decorations are designed with installation in mind, featuring lightweight yet durable materials that can withstand weeks of Florida weather.
