Disney's Spaceship Earth Show Takes Off with Loki Creator at the Helm

Disney is working on a new show based on its iconic Spaceship Earth attraction at Epcot in Florida's Disney World. According to Lesley Goldberg at The Ankler, the project comes from Michael Waldron, co-writer of Avengers: Doomsday and creator of Disney+'s Loki series. Waldron approached executives at 20th Television and Walt Disney Imagineering with the idea for a show exploring his love of Epcot.

The potential series is being developed by the Disney Kids & Family department, which has handed out a pilot order for the project. This means that Disney is investing in the development of the show, but it's unclear at this point whether it will be greenlit for production.
