Disney's Swan and Dolphin Resort Doubles Down on Convention Space
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort has unveiled its latest expansion after a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The $275 million update adds 120,000 square feet of meeting space to the existing 333,000 square feet, bringing the total to 600,000 square feet. This makes it the largest convention hotel on the U.S. Eastern Seaboard.
The expansion includes a two-story annex at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and state-of-the-art event technology. The last major update to the meeting spaces was in 2003, and this new addition brings the resort's total indoor and outdoor event space to 600,000 square feet.
