Disney's Theatrical Revival Brings New Popcorn Buckets to Cinemas
Disney is reviving two popular films and releasing new collectible popcorn buckets to coincide with their return to theaters. The first film, Cars, celebrates its 20th anniversary, and moviegoers can purchase a Lightning McQueen race car popcorn bucket at participating Cinemark and Regal locations.
The design of the popcorn bucket is similar to one released in the Disney Parks, giving fans who missed out on the original opportunity to bring home a unique souvenir. Additionally, Cinemark will offer another Cars-themed popcorn bucket featuring both Lightning McQueen and Mater.
Regal will also have a Piston Cup Sipper with a large beverage, while AMC will sell the same item along with an exclusive cup featuring a Lightning McQueen and Mater character topper. These items are available at participating locations starting September 3, while supplies last.
