Disney's Tiana's Bayou Adventure Closes for Routine Refurbishment Amid Ongoing Issues
Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World is closing for six to seven weeks starting November 2, 2026, for a routine refurbishment.
The ride has been plagued by issues since its opening in June 2024, including missing or malfunctioning show elements and broken projectors.
Disney has described the closure as a chance to catch up on maintenance and repair animatronics, restore effects, and complete general maintenance that's difficult to do while the attraction stays open daily.
The closure coincides with the conversion of the former Rivers of America area into Piston Peak National Park, which will bring new capacity to Magic Kingdom in 2028. Disney may schedule longer refurbishments for Tiana's Bayou Adventure once Piston Peak opens.
