Disney's Villains Land Takes Shape at Magic Kingdom

Disney Imagineers have been working on a new land at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, and it's finally starting to take shape. Dubbed 'Villains Land', this immersive area will bring together some of Disney's most iconic villains in a way that's never been seen before.

The land's backstory centers around a dark magic wishing well that draws villains from different worlds together. These characters, including Maleficent and the Evil Queen, have been summoned to claim the well and harness its power.

Villains Land will feature two new attractions: one inspired by Maleficent's mountaintop fortress, where riders will navigate through spiky brambles; and another located in the catacombs beneath the Evil Queen's lair, featuring a ride vehicle surrounded by iconic Disney villains like Ursula and Jafar.

In addition to these attractions, Villains Land will also include dining and shopping options, as well as appearances from fan-favorite characters like Cruella de Vil and Dr. Facilier.
