DJIA Surges on Strong Earnings and Lower Oil Prices
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is experiencing a rally on Tuesday, driven by strong earnings reports and falling oil prices.
Coca-Cola and Boeing are among the companies that have reported their earnings, with Coca-Cola delivering a double beat on revenue and adjusted EPS, while Boeing's adjusted EPS loss was worse than expected but its revenue topped estimates.
The aerospace manufacturer's revenue of $24.56 billion exceeded expectations of $24.25 billion, although the company still posted an adjusted EPS loss of $0.76.
Brent crude oil is down over 5% to around $80 per barrel, following a halt in attacks between the US and Iran.
