Donald's Adare Manor Get-Together Sets Stage for Ryder Cup History Bid
Luke Donald's countdown to a bid to create Ryder Cup history will begin in earnest when he hosts a 'familiarisation trip' at Adare Manor.
The get-together, which involves 16 players, is set to take place the day after the Amgen Irish Open finishes at Doonbeg, approximately 60 miles from Adare Manor.
Donald will be aiming to guide Europe to another Ryder Cup success, a feat that would see him become the first captain from either side to win three matches in a row.
The players taking part have not been revealed by Donald, but it seems likely that some of the star names competing in the Amgen Irish Open will attend.
