Dose Wellness Shot Brand Weighs Near-$1 Billion Sale
Wellness shot brand Dose is exploring a potential sale that could value it at nearly $1 billion, as large consumer brands and private equity firms circle the vitamins-and-supplements space.
The Miami-based supplements company, founded in 2020, has seen its daily drinks business grow to over $200 million in annual revenue, with profitability reported by people familiar with the process.
Dose is working with investment bank Perella Weinberg Partners to run a sale process, which comes on the heels of consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble's $3.8 billion acquisition of Thorne, another supplements maker, earlier this week.
The same shift in consumer demand that created the wellness shot category has also led to crowded shelves and increased competition for buyers looking for brands with scale, distribution, and profits.
