DOT Secretary's Reality Show Funded by Boeing and United Airlines
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy's family reality TV show has raised eyebrows after reports emerged that it was partially funded by several major companies, including Boeing and United Airlines.
The show, a six-episode series featuring Duffy's road trip with his family, is meant to showcase American travel. However, the involvement of corporate sponsors has sparked concerns about potential conflicts of interest.
According to View From The Wing, Boeing and United Airlines each paid up to $1 million to sponsor the show, which also received funding from companies such as Toyota, Shell, and Royal Caribbean.
The arrangement has raised questions about how Duffy is using his role in the Department of Transportation (DOT) to promote his family's media brand. This includes his son-in-law's bid for Congress.
