DOT Secretary's Reality Show Raises Concerns Over Cabinet Office Use
Boeing and United Airlines have reportedly sponsored Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy's family reality TV show, which was meant to promote American travel but has instead raised questions about Duffy's use of his Cabinet office for personal gain.
The six-episode series was funded by several companies, including Boeing, Toyota, United Airlines, Shell, and Royal Caribbean, before the Department of Transportation paid to produce it. According to View From The Wing, these sponsorships could have been worth up to $1 million.
As a result, there are concerns about how Duffy is using his role to promote his son-in-law's political campaign for Congress.
