Dow Climbs 295 Points as Treasury Yields Ease Pressure on Equities
The US stock market rebounded on Wednesday as Treasury yields paused their climb from recent multi-year highs, helping the Dow Jones Industrial Average close higher by 295.07 points at 53,061.95.
The 30-stock Dow benefited from gains in heavyweight names such as Nvidia and Johnson & Johnson, while Dell Technologies led the S&P 500 after a strong earnings beat and an upgraded full-year 2027 outlook.
The retreat in yields eased pressure on equities, with the benchmark 10-year US Treasury yield briefly touching 4.818 per cent before stabilising into the close.
