Dow Jones Drops as Consumer Goods Sector Leads Decline
United States equities closed lower on Friday, led by losses in the Dow Jones Consumer Goods, Telecommunications, and Health Care sectors.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.51%, while the S&P 500 index dropped 0.38% and the NASDAQ Composite declined 0.29%
Caterpillar Inc led the gains with a 1.72% rise to $813.94, followed by Honeywell International Inc at 0.95% and Home Depot Inc at 0.94%
Lululemon Athletica Inc plummeted to 5-year lows after falling 17.39%, while BioXcel Therapeutics Inc hit all-time lows with a 37.11% decline.
