Dow Inc., a mid-sized player in the U.S. chemicals sector, saw its stock slip 2.06% on September 11, 2026, closing at USD 29.03 on the New York Stock Exchange.

The decline comes after recent gains as investors reassess the demand outlook for basic chemicals and plastics.

In its second-quarter 2026 report, covering the period to June 30, 2026, Dow reported net sales of approximately USD 10.9 billion, roughly flat compared with the prior-year quarter.

The company also noted operating EBITDA of around USD 1.6 billion, down from about USD 2.0 billion a year earlier, highlighting margin pressure from lower pricing and higher input costs.
